I am looking for software that will work with my Accurite weather station. PC Connect no longer works with Vista so I am need of another software program so I can continue to feed my data to weather underground.  Thanks

I believe that PC Connect is no longer supported by AcuRite and, hence, WU.

Get an Acurite Access and then you don't need the PC.

EOLed only for Mac.  But I am sure EOL is coming for PC as well.  Of course you can always pay $129 for an Access and still get throttled.

See this thread in the AcuRite subject area.  Search is your friend.

Nothing has changed with the wunderground protocol.  Assuming not being able to talk to myAcurite doesn't bork the software completely, older PC Connect software should still be able to transmit to wunderground.

If the older software is completely broken, you might try putting a trivial web server (port 80) on your Vista machine.  That way references to hubapi.myacurite.com will loop back to the web server and it might be enough to satisfy the software that the old myAcurite server still exists.

Worth a shot if you can't upgrade from Vista to at least 7.

You could also install LinuxLive on your Vista computer and use it to create a 4 GB thumb drive with the latest version of Ubuntu.  weeWX works just fine and can upload to multiple services, but eventually that thumb drive will fill up, so you'd still have to make a decision on going all-in with Ubuntu or getting something else.  Oh, but I don't know if weeWX will work with your PWS.  Check on that first.

Depending what you want to do with the vista machine, install an Linux OS.  The Acurite console / 5 in 1 that I have works without any issues with Weewx. I have my console interfaced with a RPI3.
