System tray not updating
« on: September 20, 2017, 07:10:58 PM »
I just updated to the most current version of Weather Display - 10.37S57, using Windows 10.  After the update, the tab on my system tray is showing "Weather Display - Version (etc.)".   It previously showed the current wind gust and temp.   I was previously using a 10 year-old version of WD.

I went into Control Panel > Unit & Other Settings > System Tray Icons and the proper checkboxes are all checked to update the icon and the title bar.

I also went into Setup > Advanced > Program.  All the way at the bottom, the Windows 10 title bar option is checked.  I also rebooted my computer, but it didn't help.

It seems the system tray tab is taking the data directly from the title bar.  I'm not sure if this is a Windows setting or a WD setting.

Does anyone know how to get the current wind and temp to show again???  Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

are you not refering to the task bar maybe ?
also see if the latest version resolves this

note that its best to ask questions on the WD forum, I do not routinely monitor this forum
