Brian,

I hope your roof repairs are going well.

The Dark Sky API looks great - a good substitute for WU. Will the latest release of the stationcron.php support Curl? I believe I am presently using a custom version you sent me.

Take care.

Chuck

hi all API calls are now curl based now as more and more hosts are disabling fopen/ by default so

example but all are almost identical apart from url..

// weather34 darksky  curl based
$url4a = 'https://api.forecast.io/forecast/'.$apikey.'/'.$lat.','.$lon.'?lang='.$language.'&units='.$darkskyunit ;
$ch4a = curl_init($url4a);
$filename4a = '../jsondata/darksky.txt';
$complete_save_loc4a = $filename4a;
$fp4a = fopen($complete_save_loc4a, 'wb');
curl_setopt($ch4a, CURLOPT_FILE, $fp4a);
curl_setopt($ch4a, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0);
curl_exec($ch4a);
curl_close($ch4a);
fclose($fp4a);

Great! Just updated and the Dark Sky API is working fine. I did notice one possible bug in the UVI-SOLAR Panel. When the Solar Radiation reaches 1000 W/M2 the Panel bar graph shows it as 1.

Still waiting for the WeatherFlow!

Best wishes,

Chuck

good evening Brian yes thank you i saw that everything seems ok for my second station  :-)
by cons, this morning, doing the same update for my first station, as a habit i still have the two modules that remain "off"

hello fixed , you had not set the language option for the forecast so the dark sky api was returning this

{"code":400,"error":"An invalid lang parameter was provided."}

also corrected your utc offset ... dont use +2 just use 2

good morning

*please note it is only my personal weather station site that is private the download page is available as normal. sorry if i dont reply to all the pm or emails about this ..

if your ip is blocked then i apologize but simply means an ip,address within the same range was scraping my personal weather site every 5 seconds , i recieved a warning email from host of excessive cpu continous useage , after they investigated they came back with ip adresses from europe those were i czech rep and in holland.

simply blocking the ip,adresses is not always sufficient has the culprits can go vpn hopping so hence the password protect. do not take anything personal or assume its anything else , it simply is what it is as stated above.

download page

the url is also in my signature

Brian,

Just uploaded your latest with the AirVisual AQi. The Air Visual API seems to work much better than the previous one. Your re-work of the css on the Hourly Forecast and Forecast Summary (Dark Sky) look great! I did notice that in the previous version the Hourly Forecast time increments were formatted in 12 hr. time and new version is in 24 hour. Not a big deal, but I thought I would let you know.

Best Wishes,

Chuck

So I'm trying to work through getting this set up. Never done this sort of thing before. I have a couple issues.

Where is the download that contains the mbx5-mysql-setup.pdf?

And when I am seeing the following error on the main page and a couple other places.

Warning: ini_set(): Headers already sent. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/pws/public/settings.php on line 83

So I was able to get rid of the error by removing "ini_set('session.use_cookies', '0')" from line 83 of the settings file!

But I would still appreciate it if someone could point me to "the download" and PDF that are reference on the setup page. https://weather34.com/homeweatherstation/guides/setupmeteobridge.html

hello Ryan

im sorry I tried to reply yesterday but my 3g connection kept timing out so anyway there is not a PDF that is my mistake originally there was but it is basically a replica of what you see on the web page , the pdf added an extra 1.5mb of download size so i just create a web page so i sincerely apologize for the misinformation and feel free to email me any time Im stuck at home for the foreseeable future overseeing a roof construction and decorating after fire..

on another note I had a few requests for a way of using the new wifi logger for Davis console the short answer is at the moment NO possibly with some collaboration with the developer and a few users it could be done . However a big however good old trusted Boris at meteobridge as announced is own solution to this and requires no change in template as far I am aware at the moment and has all the hallmarks of the familiar meteobridge features .

"Meteobridge NANO is planned to hit stores of established resellers in August 2018. Price still to be decided."

I will definitely be buying one if the price is reasonable.

The nano looks interesting. It would eliminate the distance issues associated with the present Meteostick and do away with the Meteobridge router. Since, the Davis wireless communicates over much longer distances than the "Stick".
