The testtags used for the Saratoga templates and the testags for this template are different. I had to set up in WD another testtage file and renamed it to wstesttags.
I have mine working at http://www.shermanctweather.com/weather2
I still have a lot of things to figure out.
My wxsim forecast isn't showing right.
My yowindow seems to have night and day mixed up.
Nearby metars are European.
Thanks for using the template.
"My wxsim forecast isn't showing right." 1. The temperature is probably not set correctly in the settings for wsWxsim. It seems to be in C. As plaintext.txt does not supply the units used, the conversion is done based on the settings.
line approx. 98 in wsWxsimSettings.php should read:
$uoms = array('F','in','mph','inhg','in','mi');
2. Coming from a more modarate climate I see again too high values for solar on the solar graph tab.
I will again adapt that in the script shortly.
"Nearby metars are European."Nearby metars are a very tasty leftover from the past and will be replaced in the next release with a grapical map with those values displayed.
If you want that page to be customized to to your area: it is based on Kent True's extremely nice program with which you can locate nearby airports.
"My yowindow seems to have night and day mixed up."I see no problems with YoWindow it displays the correct time but I will look further into it.
The current conditons are not displayed so it seems that the xml is not uploaded or that the crossdomain.xml is not in the root.
I will look further into your remarks, but consider the time difference. so probably tomorrow morning your time.
Wim
Edit because I forgot to mention:After changing a setting for wxsim forecasts or for any other forecast:
REMOVE the correcponding file from the cache. The intermediate arrays are stored in weather2/cache/ so you either wait until the next run or, when you remove the cached file, see the effect of the changes immediately.
