Lost rain data ... can wunderground data be adjusted?
« on: May 02, 2013, 09:11:07 PM »
I have an AcuRite Internet Bridge that occasionally goes off-line once in awhile.  It's supposed to forward its data to wunderground every 15 minutes via AcuRite's web site.

More and more I'm realizing the bridge is likely to go off-line during a storm when I really want a record of the rainfall.

It doesn't seem to buffer data, so if the power goes off or I lose the Internet connection, I lose a considerable amount of rainfall data.

There seems to be no way to make a rainfall adjustment in the AcuRite website that manages the bridge.  Is there a way I can make an adjustment for lost rainfall data to wunderground directly?

I've tried twiddling with submission URLs to adjust the data (using rainin or dailyrainin).  It almost works, but my changes seem to get lost after the next normal update.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
