Not going to be a good day for the folks in southern Louisiana. Up to 150mph.
Didn't know that Katrina also hit on August 29th.
My heart goes out to those people up there.  :-(

I wonder if they are having power issues already. A couple of them South of Port Sulphur going 5 minutes stagnant now.

Twitter feed with a lot of videos and other stuff from Ida. Turn on the sound for some of the videos. The howl of the wind is very eerie.

All of these stopped reporting early this morning. One station with Davis Vantage Vue managed to report 89 Mph gusts before it went down. Watching those pressures drop is just incredible.
