Wave/Surf/Tide Info for Coastal Sites

(1/1)

anvana:
I discovered a great FREE application that places surf conditions on your website. This would be used mostly for coastal weather websites. The application generates a Flash object that displays on the user's page. the display includes wave heights, swell, water temp, tides, and more. Simple cut-n-paste installation. The display also includes a small ad at the bottom of the object window.

Data is selectable from world-wide locations and is not limited to the US coast.

For an example, have a look at www.topsailweather.com/index.php. The example is shown below the forecast.

SLOweather:
Topsail linky thingy works better without the period at the end.

anvana:
Sorry. the links should be www.topsailweather.com

saratogaWX:
That period-at-the-end-included-in-URL is a 'feature' of the phpBB software when it makes auto-links out of things that look like web addresses.

Note to self: always remember to put a space following an URL at the end of the sentence before placing the period. :-)
