WD and Davis WLL update frequency
« on: September 23, 2023, 04:44:41 PM »
I have a Davis Vantage Vue with associated WLL at a holiday home. I have a full tunnel VPN (Cisco ASA) at both ends. WLL is connected to the network at the holiday home, and the server running WD is at home. They are therefore not on the same subnet. I get data from WLL as normal and it seems that WD gets "Data received" every second. But it seems that the wind and wind direction are updated every 10-15 seconds. I have tried to use "Davis TCP/IP logger", but get "Error with TCP/IP Socket connection". Is this 10-15 second update as expected when using WD's integrated WLL option? Is there anyone who has a handle on this, and can explain to me if there is a workaround for this?
