Aguacero Weather
« on: September 13, 2024, 12:21:04 PM »
Not sure how many folks on here are regularly forecasting or gandering over weather model data but there's a new site that's been out for a few weeks that shows a lot of promise (I do not work nor am I affiliated in any way with this company, just thought it would be nice to share).

Aguacero Weather essentially allows complete customization of how the model data you're viewing is displayed, whether it's different views like AWIPS, color palette customization, contour customization, text value changing - it's all designed to be customizable and it's been fun to play with.

Perhaps the neatest feature of the software are 'roaming' skew-t charts, where you hover your mouse over a map and the skew -t data changes as you hover to different locations.

It is free right now but will eventually go to a paid subscription, understandably in the fall: https://aguacerowx.com/app
