Snow Day Predictor using our webcams?
« on: November 08, 2015, 09:44:57 AM »
I came across this site http://snowdaypredictor.com/

It's got my backyard webcam as the background when I view it using some kind of location code.
I think they're using it from Earthcam by the description of the cam.
And looking at the view source code, I cant see where its coming from.

They've got no backlinks to my site. Just wondering if anyone else's cam is getting
used like this and if so did you block it and how?
Tony

Could you post a link to the page which uses your image? I could try to inspect the console to see where it is fetching the data from.

You are given credit as the source, if that matters.  Here in Lincoln, NE they're using a traffic camera.

Did you guys find out how the webcams are being accessed?

is this some sort of IOT attacks?

i use snowdaypredictor.org and it predicts the next 3 days.

Further more, i refer to multiple sources to arrive at a conclusion. [tup]
