Nice and sunny here now and over 6 hours sunshine yesterday!  And you don't even notice the white stuff or the -10.4°

Enjoy,

Our low here this morning wasn’t much better at -37, but now it’s a balmy -14.  As you say, snow tonight, then a new wave of arctic air.  I think some places in our area could see -40 temps.  The good news is that next weekend it should warm up some.

Yeah, it seems to be a short sharp shock for Us and Them.  I'm seeing possibilities of 40-50 degree increases by next week, but who knows for sure?

We Floridians and Arizonans don't think like they do. ;)

What really stinks about this is....I will have to get up EARLY on a Monday morning to clear snow then go see 150 8th graders. We won't cancel for this.  We MAY for the cold.

To me, when it gets below zero, it's hard to tell if it's 10 below or 50 below.  It's just cold.

I got a chuckle when I read the forecast discussion for my area.  I guess they're more informal on the weekends.

Quote
Enjoy it while you can because the above
mentioned cold front is of arctic origin associated with a very
amplified 500 mb trough that will center itself over the upper
Midwest and Great Lakes for the rest of the week. This will lead
to bigtime changes after the warm Monday.
