Spearfish South Dakota holds the fastest change.

Wiki:
World record temperature change
Spearfish holds the world record for the fastest recorded temperature change. On January 22, 1943 at about 7:30 a.m. MST, the temperature in Spearfish was −4°F (−20°C). The Chinook wind picked up speed rapidly, and two minutes later (7:32 a.m.) the temperature was +45 °F (+7 °C) above zero. The 49 °F or 27 °C rise in two minutes set a world record that still holds. By 9:00 a.m., the temperature had risen to 54 °F (12 °C). Suddenly, the chinook died down and the temperature tumbled back to −4 °F or −20 °C. The 58 °F or 32.2 °C drop took only 27 minutes. The sudden change in temperatures caused glass windows to crack and windshields to instantly frost over.

Reply to 54 degree temperature range at my station. That is quite a range, isn't it? I am using a Davis VP2 FA and the location is very country. No pavement near it, only grass.

Most range I have ever experienced. (I don't live near Spearfish, SD.  :-)

Here is a graphic from our NWS office in Hastings, NE. This office has the climatological records closest to me, but they are about 90 miles away. Nevertheless, it sort of backs up my observations of 95 for a high and 41 for the morning low.  Our high today was 44, after yesterday's high of 95 that is quite a range also.

Thought it might be interesting.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen 100% chance of rain in 4 years.

I've seen it fairly often for Day 1, 2 or sometimes 3, not for Day 4.

Got to 89 here on Friday.  OKC TV weatherman thinks we're finished with 80s until next spring.  I wouldn't want to guarantee that since November of 2017 had a couple of days with 82.

Needing A/C in October due to multiple days of 90+ has to be some kind of level of criminal insanity.

The reds are records for the date:

It's windy here in the SF East Bay. WE are under a severe fire warning because of said wind. It's blowing the smoke down from the fires up north. I'm getting a pretty good dose of smoke. I almost forgot there were still burning

This thread reminds me of how uninteresting the weather is here (outside of storms), we rarely see such large temperature swings, a 30 degree swing would be noteworthy, I couldn’t imagine a 50+ degree swing.

“Only” 80 today, which is warm for October, but hardly a record.

Here, there has been a flood watch that started early Sunday morning lasting through Tuesday evening.  A cold front going back and forth helps explain the wet situation.  I'm on the warm side as of Monday morning.  Have picked up .77", so far.  Where it's really been getting soaked is well to the south and west of me.

Winter Weather Advisory out.  Little early for some. 4" depth ground temperature still in 40's so will be short lived and just a taste of what's coming.

I know I've seen at least one in MT. Maybe this was it:

Maybe you are first at lower altitude.

If not straight winds, EF0 and EF1 tornadoes did damage in parts of the OKC metro area on Tuesday morning as pictured below.  When the line arrived here, wind gusted up to 31 mph.  With 2.35" fallen, this rainy period is on its way out now as the cold front passes by and will stay passed this time.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Sergio is expected to impact Oklahoma and north Texas weather this weekend.

Don't usually see straight line winds put cars on their roof tops.

Rare for sure but a small car and 100-130 mph downburst can toss them around easily.
