WUHU subsitute?
« on: January 31, 2025, 10:29:06 AM »
Hello;
    I am new to this forum.  I used to live in Southern California and had a weather station that I uploaded to several different sites via WUHU.  We moved six years ago and have finally settled down and I have been out of touch with personal weather stations.  I just bought an Acurite Atlas station and I want to publish the data again.  It is my understanding that WUHU no longer exists, so I am looking for a software that will allow me to upload to CWOP, WU, AWEKAS, and more.  I am using a Windows 10 laptop.

Thanks for the help.

Bob

Cumulus MX is the first one I think of. Loads of options for those sites and more.

https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/

This is my site powered by CMX:

My stuff is pretty basic. You can do loads of fancy stuff.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, Acurite stations are not compatible with Cumulus.

Enjoy,

Perhaps not what you want to hear, but if you can return the Acurite without a significant penalty that may be your best option.

Once you have solved that problem, take a look at Ecowitt. Affordable, good support, and no-cost uploads to sites like Weather Underground & similar.

One of the reasons Acurite is not looked on favorably here: https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=45183.0
