Have been using HiveMQ for my broker for a number of years and recently it stopped working with WD. This was one of those setup and forget things that just worked and I never messed with it. Now that it's broke I am at a loss as to what changed with my setup. The WD cron is telling me I need a connection to the broker. It appears the cron is successful in getting the needed info from WD, but then fails to send it to the broker as it fails the connection.
Did hivemq make a change that requires a username/password to be sent? I've always used a VPN so I don't think that would be an issue. I have the cron pointed to broker.hivemq.com port 1883. Is TLS now required? Scratching my head trying to figure out why it quit working. The webpage that used to work is at
