I've been trying to puzzle out exactly how the HD Display that comes with the Iris 5-in-1 system calculates the Rainfall Rate value as it sometimes shows unexpected values that don't seem to make sense. At first I thought it just recorded of the most recent 10 minutes of rainfall and then scaled it up to an hour, but that doesn't track. When the rainfall slows, the HD Display's number gradually comes down in finer steps than my scaled values can do. Then i tried averaging but the value I come up with is always alot lower than what the HD Display shows. I would super appreciate it if anyone has more info/knowledge about how it works. Thank you!
