WMR 200 Temperature and Humidity Sensor issues
« on: April 03, 2019, 04:19:12 PM »
I have had my WMR 200 station for around 5 years. The temperature sensor worked for a while, but has gone on and continues to  produce, wildly inaccurate readings. The same can be said for the Humidity Sensor.

E.g. Air Temperature is usually 2c or 3c too warm in cloudy/wet conditions. At the moment it's reading 5.8c, whilst my nearest Wunderground station is reading 3.9c. All other stations are in the range of 3.5c to 4.5c.

E.g. Humidity is always under represented. At the moment my base station is reading 63%, whilst  the actual humidity is around 86%.

My station is placed within an open garden.

Is there anything I can to rectify this? Or will I have to just buy a new sensor and hope that, that records accurate temperature and humidity readings? (I'm not keen on wasting money on a new sensor, if mines is doing alright).
