Purple Air Bad firmware Push?
« on: April 03, 2019, 10:55:12 PM »
Little by little in my area Purpleair PA-II are dropping of the map and showing offline.
Mine went down at 8:52PM CST and I have not been able to bring it back online.

I have contacted support... I have not had this unit for no more than a week+ and now is bricked?

No is not an issue with wireless as all of my home device are fine. Is the PA it self... I have contacted them about my device going offline everyday since I got it at least 2 to 3 times a day.... Now is just completely offline.
Along with a few others in the map... Please see attached...
So is it my device or a bad firmware push?  ](*,)

Super frustrated.

Is there a way to reset the purpleair?

One way is to power cycled the unit, or ask in Facebook forum to remotely restart it for you.

Issue was resolved. They issued an rma. Purpleair tech support was supportive and responsive.

All of ours have suddenly gone down since Saturday 4/13...tried many different WiFi sources and reconfigured several times but no joy. Anyone else having this issue lately?

That sound just like what happen to me.... I saw a bunch of PA II drop and mine never came online.... if does come online contact them... Their support is top notch.

On another note I reported to them quite a few WiFi issues and They push a  beta firmware which has help tremendously with WiFi connectivity specially when meshing and usin 802.11k
