It is very hard to believe some of the January 2025 low temperature data on WU home weather stations in the deep south. The low temperatures are very extreme even lower that the record breaking cold in December 1989. Some low temperatures were below 10 F and as low as 2 degrees F even in climate zone 9 areas. For members with weather stations here in the south, what is your lowest temperature in January 2025. At my location, temperatures did not fall below 40 F. We were very fortunate not to have freezing temperatures here.
