But yes, I agree.

The internet gives people who should not have a voice, a voice. I hope at the very least it was a crank call.

I hear ya. For some reason, I don't consider this site as a wretch on society.

I'm thinking that is fake. There are some oddballs out there but that's pushing it.
As for social media it is what you want it to be. The Internet has many great sites as well as a bunch of trash. Conspiracy theories abound as do well documented facts. You have to take that info and determine yourself if it's credible.
I do have a FB account as well as a Twitter account but primarily for weather related information. There is some very knowledgeable folks out there who know what they are talking about. Besides here I also have sports sites I visit. There are guys out there who can break down an NFL offense/defense with unbelievable detail.
Social media is a good thing but it has its pros and cons. Ultimately you have to decide if it's worth your time.
