We got as low as $0.899 /lr.  Sure better than the $1.359 in the summer.  And just when my $0.95 Ford gas card ran out \:D/

Filled up yesterday for $2.149, several stations around the metro area had it at $1.999 with the expected lines around the block! Hoping it continues the trend thru at least the first part of 2015

Our tax is the 2nd highest in the country at .37/gallon. The lowest in our town is $2.65/gallon.

Ah, the privilege of Gov and those we "elected" to hold out your hand and collect for something you never ever invested in research of, never speculated in, or about, never "personally" needed etc, and yet you collect from every person who needs a single drop of the product you don't own, never paid for transportation of and never assisted in the creation or refinement of - wow, sure genius, or?

$2.09 is common now, ho ho ho? But, now we're getting to the point it's hurting our drilling/fracking industry.

I'd say that's one of the objectives of the Saudis.

Ethanol: $1.79 a Gallon. Spring, Texas.

Ethanol doesn't count, especially E85.  Almost all gas now has ~10 percent ethanol in it.  100% gas in our neck of the woods is usually a quarter more.

$1.89 here in N. Texas. That is a good enough Christmas present for me. I thought I would never see these prices again in my life time. Last time I seen it this low a pack of smokes was $2.50 a pack. Long gone are those days. The gas break is much welcomed for my wallet.

Finally starting to see prices below$1.90 here in the valley but everything in my immediate area is still hovering right at $2 a gallon.

On a related note I was going thru some pictures in my photobucket account and came across this scan from one of my H.S. yearbooks circa 1980 or so:

Hey a guy can dream right?!?  Of course that was also for leaded regular gasoline which would probably get a person drawn and quartered nowadays but boy did the ol' 69 El Camino run good on that stuff!

Back in '80 I used to splurge on Getty Premium at $.85 a gallon every fourth tankful for my '72 Firebird.  Yes, the cars ran great on leaded gas, but I think having air that is 20 times cleaner now is probably a good thing.

Corwyyn-I am impressed at the Vickers logo.   Been a long time since I have seen that.
There were not a lot of those in rural Iowa when I was a kid.  Des Moines had them.

Clark has a few around MPLS.
NW Iowa still has Sinclair.

Yeah Vickers was all over Albuquerque and the surrounding areas when I was growing up, most eventually became Diamond Shamrock stations (don't know if they got bought out or if Diamond Shamrock just took over a bunch of defunct stations).  Still see Sinclair down here in the Phoenix metro, used to see them all over the southwest when I was growing up but today they are not as prevalent.

And yeah I hate to think what the air over most any metro area would be like today if we still ran leaded gas but I do kind of miss those days.
