NExStorm (full version) not working

All,
  I just my legal copy of the full version of Nexstorm in the mail. I have a copy of Nexstrom Lite installed on the machine and it has been working just fine. Now after I installed the full version of Nexstorm, it says it can't find the PCI drivers (WDM). I know the latest PCI drivers that came with Nexstorm Lite is installed.
Also, my version is 1.3 but I see on the astrogenic site it's up to 1.6.... For ~ $130 i'd expact a CD with the latest version on it but.....

I went through the same thing and had the same thoughts.
Get version 1.6 at Astrogenics site.
Since your settings won't carry over, delete the lite version and install 1.6 for best results.

I'd do what Curly suggested and get the 1.6 drivers..you should be fine after that.

Update:

Just got my usernam and password from astrogenic so I can download the lastest version. Hopefully this will cure the problem with the PCI driver. I just don't understand why i pay $129 for a product, get in in the mail, and it's not only the latest version but it doesn't work withwhat you have.....  ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Oh well, I will have to wait until next week to try this...... #-o

Just getting in to the lightning thing.  I ordered the Boltek, it's in the mail.  I am holding off a bit on the NExStorm for the full outcome of this thread.

I thought the 1.6 version was Beta??

Update:


Just got 1.6 installed.... No more errors... Now I need some strikes to calibrate this thing.....Thanks for all your help everyone....

Glad to hear everything is working for you now.

Just take your time when you calibrate. It takes time to get things tweaked. It's not something that happens overnight.

Once Nexstorm 2 comes out hopefully we can eliminate manual calibrations. It's supposed to have auto calibration through the Strikestar network. Whether it comes to fruition or not is a different story. We can only hope..  :-)

Nice to hear things are working out for you Jim.

I guess I will be going through the same thing.  Just thought I would wait before I order the NExStorm, get things in place and then go from there.  Learned a bunch on this thread, a big thank you to every one involved. :grin:

You guys are killing me! Someday when gas goes back down to $1.00 a gallon I'll be able to afford a Boltek!!! :shock:

But seriously, what is the average price for a complete system including the software?

Well, got my Nexstorm configured and StormVue is now running on my site.. YAY!!!11  =D> =D> =D>

Now my next move is to sign up with StrikeStar and get that going... BTW, where can you get WASP?
