Anybody else fired up for football season? The NFL starts tonight and then Ohio State and Texas Saturday night. Yeehaaww!!

After that we have to put up with 5 boring months of baseball.
At least it's the tornado and hurricane season then.

Yea NoQuitters I can't believe they eliminated the law here for helmets on motorcycles. I rode one for several yrs and wouldn't leave home without it.

I'll bet after the cheap shot Trent Green took yesterday he feels like he was in that motorcycle wreck without a helmet.

I didn't see it but they're saying he's going to be out for a while, week or two, concusion. Looks like Huard is the man for you guys now.

That is a scary thought!

I'd much rather see Brodie Croyle the 3rd QB than Huard. At least he can run.

Here's the video of the hit he took. It's about 1:34 in. Only plays in real player as far as I can tell.

Drew, that's close. It could have gone either way. Penalty or not. Problem is when you slide feet first your upper body is wide open without any protection. Also with the dress's they have the QB's wearing when the D see's an opportunity they take it.

Couldn't see exactly what happened real clearly it was choppy. But they do teach QB's to slide feet first to avoid injury instead of taking a headon hit, looks like in this case it backfired.

Big Ben is gonna be out another game it looks like for next Monday nights game.
