How can I get a dot on the member map?

Hard to tell. You don't have a website listed in your profile to compare to the sites on the map.

Go to http://www.kcwx.com/map.htm, mouse over the CT stations and look at the status bar of your browser.

I'm not so sure that the map is taken from the member list. There are close to 80 dots on the member map and only 65 registered members. Also I see dot's that do not correspond to member locations. And finally I do not see a dot for mine but being as I just joined perhaps it takes a while for it to appear.

The dots on the map are from the old forum which is why there are so many. To have your's added you need to have your info posted in this thread: http://www.wxforum.net/viewforum.php?f=28
