PM2.5 and forest fires...
« on: June 07, 2023, 08:04:41 PM »
I thought I would share how the Canadian forest fires are affecting my local area in the States using the two PM sensors I have.
You can see what was rather normal, until the evening of the 6th where it shot up.  And I thought yesterday was bad....

Interestingly, you can see how opening a window in the early morning to get some fresh oxygen also polluted the house:

Guy on the news last night said he was reading PM2.5 in the 340's downtown Ottawa. The previous worst he saw was 80 right downtown during trucker invasion.

I work outside all day. N95 is a must. First day I felt half sick to my stomach and headache.
