Get yourself the GW2000 and WS90 together.
In my opinion gw2000 is better than 1100.

I believe this to be the best all round setup, if you don’t want to mess around with trying to dial the accuracy of the wittboy haptic sensor in.


Forget the heightening block for wh40 as it’s not proven yet, to improve accuracy.

Everything else looks pretty good.

If you need extra sensors, make sure those are "multi channel" or they will overwrite what ever is coming from you WS90.
Take the WS90 that comes with the "station" aka GW2000. It supposed to be much better than the old one while everything "older" connects to it just fine.

Although the extra height gadget for the WH40 is not proven in my view it does no harm. I fitted one recently and my rain readings do seem better in some recent heavy rain we had, although this is anecdotal at present I get the feeling it was better than without it. There's no doubt in my mind the funnel on the WH40 does need a redesign. Also I'd go with a WS80 rather than the WS90 as the haptic rain sensor seems to me to be not very reliable or easy to set up currently, just my view....
