Atlas dead after 2.5 weeks.

I just got an Atlas 2.5 weeks ago. Yesterday afternoon it suddenly stopped transmitting. I tried putting in several sets of fresh batteries, and it still wouldn't work. The LED on the bottom of the sensor that flashes when transmitting doesn't even light up. No reason for the unit to die so quickly. It is junk.

Super capacitor is likely junk.

The sensor started transmitting on its own just now, almost 48 hours after it died. I see in another thread that this is a known problem with the Atlas.
