"Grains of water"
« on: December 03, 2009, 12:37:24 AM »
I recently added a weather station to the company I manage. One of my employees sent me the following question:
"As a drag racer [the information on the weather site] is very useful for Air/Fuel calibrations will it also tell you “grains of water” or is that included in the moisture number or dew point ."

Does anyone know the answer to this question?

Yeah this  is what we notice in updraft carbs on aircraft. you be suprise how many times I have had carb heat on  just to taxi around  due to high humidity making ice in carb. Not a fun thing to get on take off either
