Acurite 06058 Display
« on: February 10, 2022, 11:24:17 AM »
I'm unhappy that my 06058 display doesn;t have batteries, that being said, to put it on a UPS, I assume I would lose all of my data, is that correct.  I would lose YTD statistics, rain, hi/lows etc.

It does have a battery, and data should be kept.

But you would lose data if batteries are gone.

It does not have any batteries.  "This High Definition does not feature backup batteries. High Definition displays draw too much power for any backup batteries that are incorporated into the design to be useful. We recommend using an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) if you are concerned about data loss in the event of a power outage."
