I think more of springtime. Just read that this only the third time in December that a "moderate" risk has been issued since 2015.

I got to fly in this evening before it hits. Should be OK by Sunday to fly back out but supposed to shake and shudder in between. Looking to be above freezing. Should put the Stratus gapuage in for the weekend.  \:D/

Wow. Major hits by tornadoes.

Possibly even long track one of over 200 miles!

We were glued to the news this AM. Devastating damage and loss of life.  :-(

Just got around to seeing the devastation from the 200 mile plus track one that I watched on radar all night (yes, I have no life). Undoubtably at least an EF4 and will not be surprised if EF5 status is given, which are incredibly rare (about 0.1%), especially for the time of year.

Now that I've seen even more pics, I'll be surprised if it isn't classified an EF5. Just wow...

Considering I watched it on radar practically the whole time (remember, no life), I think the record will be eclipsed here. I also read that Doppler estimated wind speed of 303 mph was observed (that source is unconfirmed).
