Topic: New NWS Radar Images

These are supposed to go live on December 8th. This is with the dark canvas background but the the other choices are very good either. Also the color scheme for the radar isn't very appealing. Just me but I'm not too impressed.
But I will add it's nice they are using L2 data.

The preview site is very difficult to navigate, dog slow, and just plain awful!  It's probably the result of a committee of administrators who issued edicts to the IT people and never looked at the results of their 'work'.  But then again, highly paid administrators need to justify their existence.  It looks to me like just another NOAA-NWS boondoggle.
