view PurpleAir sensor's temp & humidity?
« on: September 12, 2020, 04:55:51 PM »
PurpleAir sent me a WeatherUnderground stationID for my PA-II; but I can't figure out how to view the stationID in WeatherUnderground to see the Temperature, Pressure, and Humidity data it collects.

I tried adding a Device in my WeatherUnderground account, but the PA-II isn't an option and that device has a different stationID and no data.

PA create a separate ID as using an existing weather station key will corrupt data as it will create additional readings that will conflict with the existing weather station's data.

afaik the url is something like http://sensors-out.wunderground.com/v1/pws/data/WU-SENSORID?beginTimestamp=2020-07-04T16:00:00-04:00

though I havent used WU PA ID for a year now.

Ask PA on their facebook page.

Thank you very much for your reply!

When I pasted in my ID and the date, I got many lines of raw data that looked like:
A","value":62.23,"unit":"ug/m3","minSize":0.3,"maxSize":1,"place":"outside","duration":120,"consolidation":"average","confidence":1},{"name":"PM2.5-A","value":135.17,"unit":"ug/m3","minSize":1,"maxSize":2.5,"place":"outside","duration":120,"consolidation":"average","confidence":1},{"name":"PM10.0-A","value":153.94,"unit":"ug/m3","minSize":2.5,"maxSize":10,"place":"outside","duration":120,"consolidation":"average","confidence":1},{"name":"PM2.5-

Is there a more human-readable form accessible in the cloud, perhaps including charting?

I don't look at Weather Underground often but I never registered my sensor with them. Guess Purple Air did that. Don't know how long I had the sensor up and running with PA before it showed up on WU, but it was several days I'm sure. How long have you had yours as you may have a little wait. On a side note I wouldn't expect to see accurate numbers on your temp and humidity....more like 'in the ball park'.
