AmbientWeather.net Live Public Website
« on: March 12, 2020, 04:39:16 PM »
Greetings,

We just announced our live public website. It is free and will launch apps in about 2 weeks. Here is the web app.  Tell us what you think!

https://www.AmbientWeather.net

You can create your own account, customize the dashboard and even set up alerts from any weather station on our network. We currently have about 80,000 devices reporting and included AWOS / ASOS.

This is a work in progress, there is a lot of room to grow but we are looking for your opinions.

Is there a way to re-sort the items being shown on the web page or app?  I accidentally hid the Batteries item, then when I restored it (using the capability at the bottom), it now appears at the top of the list. I have tried "dragging" it, but no go.

Click on the X to collapse to the small view (for the battery item) and it will go back down to where it was before in small square.

Thanks! That worked.

I was a little cautious about the "X" fearing that it would kill it for good...

I agree the X is not intuitive. I would have designed the UI with the double square icon that Windows uses for maximize / minimize.
