Do not seem to be having the problem you are describing. Maybe it has been fixed?

Thanks,
Anthony

Ken,

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, but just recently when I quote someone and try to add copy in the bottom portion of the field, the field jumps to the top, so I cannot see what I am typing. It's making typing and editing a little more challenging for two-fingered keyboarders such as myself. If there is an easy way to corrent this problem, that would be great. Thanks for all you do around here!  =D>

Bruce

I need a bit more info to track this one down, since I'm not experiencing it either :(

Are you using the Quote button/link on a post you are replying to, and then
are you using the Quick Reply or the full Reply box?

What browser (it does sometimes make a difference)?

Is it only on replying to a quoted message with an additional quote?

Best regards,
Ken

Here I've just quoted-reply (using Quick Reply window) using FF3.0.8 with no issues (other than having to scroll to the bottom of the window and click after the /quote] at the end to start typing.

I have noticed that too.. Seems like I first saw it after updating IE to IE8
I don't remember seeing this in FF3 that I can remember.  Challenging to phat phingered key punchers like me also :)

ken,

I have posted this using Firefox with no problems by just clicking the quote tab top right. I also tried posting using IE8 and had the problem already described. It would appear that it's an issue with IE8.

Many calls on IE8 issues this week. The issues have been wide ranging including add-on related problems and general assorted weirdnesses. Needless to say I'm not recommending a move to IE8 at this time for most people.
