Changing battery in RainWise MK-III Weather Station
« on: February 07, 2020, 11:21:50 AM »
Looking for the process to replace the battery in the Weather Station, I assume you must remove some panels to access the battery which I assume is somehow connected to the system.

Any info is appreciated

Turn ISS off, switch on bottom, remove 4 screw from panel that hold solar panel, unplug solar panel from circuit board and set aside. Slide battery out part way unplug battery and remove. Battery is a 6 volt wet cell. reverse to install new battery.

Thanks for the info. Is the 6 volt battery a standard size, I am not familiar with that size battery. I assume it size is critical to fit inside the panel case.

Thanks again for the info
