1 mile from my house. I've seen hail before but not piling up like that. It hailed for 1 hour straight.

Yes about 4 inches

Impressive, that's close to something I lived through while in Lavern OK. 1975-76 We had an all-nighter of hail, ended up with around foot. 20 miles away there was nothing.
