Not much CAPE, but the Helicity could makeup the difference with enough sunshine.

Severe Thunderstorms already popping up to the north and northeast of Topeka, could be getting some weak rotation out of the cell over Jackson county, KS as it starts to form a hook.

Our local TV weatherguy said we might be in for some large hail tomorrow, but tornadoes were doubtful.  We'll see.   8-[

Risk of small tornadoes spinning up undetected along the squall line in my area... don't ignore Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, they may end up being a little more than "just another thunderstorm".

Were getting it right now here in SE Wisconsin. Tornadoes have been sighted, high winds, some hail and heavy rain.

Yep.... they are starting to ramp up our potential risk here.  With us being about 3 miles apart Mike, it will be interesting to see what we get.

75 tornado reports so far.  I wouldn't be surprised to see it go over 100.

Well, no broken trees.  :-) There is a ridge running along the highway that usually drains some power out of storms.
Not so lucky in Illinois.  :-(

The tornado grazed us here in the twin cities with minor damage but was north and west hitting Washington, Il and Minonk, Il. Washington had the worst damage with over 200 homes destroyed. There were a total of 11 tornadoes that touched down through out central Illinois. Hail sizes from golf ball to baseball were collected north of town.

One missed me by about a mile or so.  Took out a few homes over a hopscotch pattern.

That's about as close as I ever want one to be again thankyouverymuch.

Wow is right.

I was in one when I was very young.... had a few siblings get hurt. Thankfully no one died.  House was destroyed .... I think being a brick structure helped save us..... but, nothing is a match for Mother Nature. Her beauty is too much sometimes.
