Greg, that looks like a soaker, for sure!  They've been predicting all week that we're gonna get washed away down here...and we've seen very little rain...plenty of blustery wind and gray skies, but little rain.  Looking at the radar today there was the small system over in Georgia that was mostly headed north and the system over in Mississippie that is/was headed your way....we were in between and have only got a light misting.  We've got another 50% predicted for tomorrow...it'll probably rain and keep me from mowing the grass when I have the time.

Don't forget to put on your high-water britches...

This morning I turned in 2.75 inches for the past 24 hours to CoCoRAHs.  Some stations south of me turned in 3.40 inches.  I'm sure there will be higher totals from around the region.   A three-day total will be interesting, too.  Maybe I'll Google plans for building an Ark!

3.28" so far, the ULL is over AL now and showers are breaking out ahead of that. Even hail accumulation?

SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE TOWARDS THE
NORTH NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH AND WEST
CENTRAL GEORGIA. THESE STORMS HAVE ALREADY PRODUCED PEA-SIZED HAIL
AND HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE UP TO DIME-SIZED HAIL THROUGH
830 PM. MINOR ACCUMULATION OF HAIL IS POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. WIND
GUSTS TO AROUND 30 MPH AREA ALSO POSSIBLE.
