The Oglethorpe County Rainfall Reporting Network aka Oglethorpe County CoCoRaHS is meeting Saturday, January 12. This is our 4th annual meeting. We are meeting at the Oglethorpe County Library at 858 Athens Road, Lexington, Georgia from 11 AM to 2 PM. You are welcome to join us.
This is a social meeting of 18 rain observers and people who are interested in reporting rain. Our agenda includes guest speakers who are state and regional CoCoRaHS coordinators from UGA, USDA, NOAA. The meeting is open to anyone interested from other counties. We have been reporting and publishing rainfall since 2006. Official CoCoRaHS rain, snow, hail measuring and reporting training is available to anyone who wishes to be trained.
