Topic: Tor Watch Most of Southern Ontario

So everyone is talking.  Pretty much all of southern Ontario is under a Tor Watch.
Nothing on radar yet as far as big storms.   I am sure the conditions are prime for it, but after the near (mostly) missed call on the Goderich Tornado, seems like EC is covering their you know what.   Problem is, if nothing happens, they will now have a miss, and a cry wolf within a few days.

That one that just crossed Lake Huron north of Fort Huron/Sarnia near Grand Bend, looks pretty nasty.  I was watching it on KDTX, just as it was Tor Warned by NWS.  The entire shore of Lake Huron on Canadian side, then went Tor Warned.  Massive area is now warned.  Probably an hour plus from me now.

Just lost power.  Wicked lightning storm. Not even close to what is happening in the southwest.  Hope it comes back up  before all my UPS's run out.

edit; only lasted about 10 minutes, which is 9 minutes longer than our usual ones. all the ups's did their jobs.

   I was watching that cell for quite a while as well.  The Storm Relative Velocity scan was really interesting.  I kept waiting for a tornado warning to pop up but after 10 minutes I realized it was in Canada.  I was watching on KDTX too.  I was pretty sure a tornado was present in that cell.  I hope all is well with you Andrew. 
   I have a severe thunderstorm watch till 5AM.  There are some storms in southern  Michigan that are heading this way. Hopefully they will cut the watch short after these cells pass but we will see.
