automatic web page refresh

Hello....i would like to have my web page automatically refresh for my viewers..
can anybody tell me how to do it???

At the top, in your header place:

Code: [Select]
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="200">

"200" would be the number of seconds you want it to refresh. So if you wanted your page to refresh every 5 minutes, replace the 200 with 300.

Hi Scott.....I did make that change in th WX.HTX file.. it worked on my 2nd page.. I want to refresh the home page... maybe INDEX.HTM ?
the website is "CYPRESSLAKESWEATHER.COM "
AS YOU MIGHT HAVE NOTICED i AM NOT TOO BRIGHT WITH THIS WEBSITE STUFF.. SO YOU HAVE TO BE VERY PRECISE FOR ME...

The htx file that builds the page of your site is "usa.htx".  Add the meta refresh tag in the header of that one.  That way when usa.htx writes to your index.htm file, it's there.

If you put your web address in your profile (there's a field for it), or in your signature, or worst case just in the post you are asking the question, it would help a lot in helping you with future site questions....

Nothing personal, but I hate when websites automatically refesh while I'm viewing them...just my opinion.
