a note for the new 2.1.5fw. https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=44041.msg448220#msg448220
a WH32(-EP) is not affected by the temperature compensation option - it's only applied to T/H sensors of the outdoor arrays (WH65/WS69, WS80, WS90).

and that this field for GWxx00 is still only a 1:1 copy of yearlyrainin.
for a GW1000/WH2650 that's the only possibility.
The GW1100 and GW2000 - and in principle also the HP2551 - could technically start building up this raintotalin internally as does the WS2350/WS2320E console as there is internal NVM available.

I've now got three rain gauges for comparison to a manual rain gauge.
Today's rain:
Davis 9.4mm
WS90 7.9mm gain all set to 0.65
WH40 7.7mm
Manual 7.2mm

Seems Davis single spoon is counting to much rain....
If it is a persistent difference I'd better self calibrate the Davis rain gauge.

With the WH40 the rain graph does work
With WS90 not

Some notes after the update from v2.1.4 to v2.1.5 on my GW1100:
There's the key totalainin also back (also with the missing "r" spelling error).
Answer received from Ecowitt:

The total rain on gw1000 was there before, and we deleted this feature on custom server before. However there is one customer used this data on his custom server, and that is why we added it back.

Sorry for the spelling mistake, I will pass this to our software team and ask them to be more careful.

I assume that totalrainin will be transferred correctly (with "r") again in the next firmware version (for GW1000 as well as for GW1100 and GW2000) and that this field for GWxx00 is still only a 1:1 copy of yearlyrainin.

I have no idea how this thing can communicate with my LAN so that I can download the data from there. Also, how does it send the data to Weatherlink.com if there's no PC connected for 24/7?

The WiFiLogger is a third-party replacement to the now discontinued Davis WeatherlinkIP logger which can upload through the internet, but much more flexible and features, and no PC involved.
You do need to one-time set it up through your smart phone and router but Wojtech has good instructions on that, and he is also helpful on the forum.

Standard text file uploading every minute www.komokaweather.com/wifi-console/realtime.txt and also a .json format file.

Enjoy,
Paul

If you have own server with FTP, then you can use my WiFiLogger.
http://wifilogger.net/

It's a pity that you bought a USB logger, because I keep the price of mine so low that everyone can be interested in it, and I created WiFiLogger so that people forget about PC problems 24/7. It took a lot of work, but the smiles of my clients are priceless.

Weather Station Pictures / Re: Heathkit ID 5001
« Last post by blizzardof78 on Today at 12:00:40 PM »
I have always wanted either a 4001 or 5001. Here is something interesting.

http://www.thunderheadtech.com/id5001.html

I contacted Forecast Technologies was planning to bring out the 5001 last year but nothing is happening.

Heath also has an ID-6001 in early development. Don Peterson who heads their parts division (Data Professionals https://www.d8apro.com) confirmed this.

Any new information on this? I'd certainly be interested!

can anyone log into the dashboard from a computer anymore or have they gone strictly mobile.  I just tried and got failing creds (which I know is not the case since I can log out/in on mobile).

My images and timelapses have started failing uploads to the server but the temp is still feeding.

same thing im gettin too :(
