I have an old MTS "Weather EAR" (Emergency Alert Radio) and a Reecom 1630.

The Weather EAR feeds an amplifier that I can hear the radio throughout the house.
The Reecom audio output is fed into my TV.

Grundig emergency radio (hand crank)

Ditto with the Grundig emergency radio (hand crank). Bought it while living in Va. and don't know why I brought it over here. That portion of the airwaves is pretty empty.

Just a quick update, I received my new Eton Zoneguard over Amazon within the last hour, that makes 5 radios in my collection now. Also, tomorrow, I will be adding a Midland WR-120B to my collection.

Update 11/8/13: The 120 came today, it is actually a model 120EZ, so that makes 6 radios in my collection now.

I've got the Sangean CL100 and I really like the feature that allows you to selectively block any of the numerous emergency alert messages that I don't want to hear.  It also correctly recognizes the NWS end of message (EOM) tone so that it doesn't keep repeating the message in the middle of the night (I've had several other radios that played the message numerous times and was very annoying).

Interesting to see how the radios react to an alert differently, we had a flash flood watch issued this afternoon and the Midland WR120 and the Radio Shack 12-250 both indicated that the watch was effective for 6hrs, the Reecom r-1630 showed the same watch was only effective for 1hr 45min, and Oregon Scientific failed to pick it up at all, we also had the weekly test today and all of the radios received that properly.

Quick bump. As of today, I now have 17 radios in my collection. My Sangean CL-100 (Refurbished) bit the dust when I got it, and it will be sent back. With the refund, I will purchase a brand new CL-100. Yesterday, I went to a local RadioShack and purchased the Eton Solarlink FR370 and RadioShack 12-996 for a combined price of $100.

Bump. Yesterday I got my hands on a La Crosse 810-805 (identical to T83738) at Bass Pro Shops in Tacoma. On Tuesday, I will have my new AlertWorks EAR-10 delivered to my house. On New Years Day, I will officially close the year with 19 Weather Radios. 12 purchases this year alone! :D
