Same here, Tony. Nor does the app work. The map works. It looks like the API flipped out. All of my Favorites are gone, including my own camera. I'll have to redo it when I get home.

Again? I don´t want to be picky, but is there a day without someone reporting problems regarding BS?

I think this is a larger than normal issue.  Nothing is working on my end either.  I couldn't get into the data portal yesterday (gave some sort of application error message).  Today you get the login page but just hangs after that.

Also currently can't access the portal and got the WU message of not updating, but both my home device and my daughter's Milton device are current on the map, which for many is the main purpose of their BloomSky!.

The Wunderground stuff is broken, but the Bloomsky app and map page seem to be working fine for me.

Thanks for the post.  I also received the WU email this morning saying I've been offline, so your post confirmed quickly I needed not to worry and check my Bloomsky or router.

Maybe they had a server issue but least we were back up relativity quick.

As mentioned growing pains....  If you look at the map you'll see numerous BS popping up all over the place.

Also with the new APP update which is sending forecasts, more frequent notifications and other features its probably starting to overwhelm their systems.

I got the notification also.

This is what I don't like about having to rely on a 3rd party's server.  If we had direct access to the device, we could at least still get some functionality out of it.

Huh?  The link between Bloomsky and Wunderground is the problem here.

I can access my Bloomsky just fine.

As for direct access to the device, that might be possible, but the way they shut down the wifi to save power makes it a challenge.

Has anyone captured the traffic to see if it is encrypted or not?

Oops.  Disregard.  I guess you might be talking about using the data portal.

I mean just in general.  If bloomsky suffers a prolonged outage, these are useless.  It would be nice to be able to pull data out of it on our own somehow.

Well, as I said before, this outage isn't affecting the Bloomskys themselves.

Someone will have to dig in and do some more research to determine if the communications can be monitored locally.  If we're lucky, hopefully it isn't overly encrypted or obfuscated.
