Topic: Davis Diagnostic/Configuration application

Is there such as utility that exists that shows diagnostic details of your Davis Vantage Pro 2 via the USB port?

How about setting the date & time? or other parts of the system? Clearing the archive data etc?

I know you can do this on the console, but does a software application exist that does the same?

There is no separate utility that provides just eg diagnostic data, but as Mattk says the Weatherlink for Windows software provides all that functionality along with all its main features of displaying the weather data, charting archive data etc etc. To get Weatherlink for Windows see:

I dont use WeatherLink but I did purchase it with the data logger a while ago.

I dont know of a utility as a standalone but weewx has a feature to setup the console if needed.

it does read the main conf file but thats only a 10 minute job.  it runs however in linux.
