31.5 at 3AM today and a good amount of cloud cover is keeping the sun room down to the mid-70s. Possible showers Sunday & Monday.

"Green or Red" is not only the State's 'Official question' but it's also what my doctor asks me when I'm congested... :-P

So this guy wouldn't be able to choose.  Or maybe he'd want both?

This traffic light wants both apparently.

And the forecast is calling for slight showers and snow showers Monday and Tuesday. Bottomed out at 30*F last night according to my weather station...other weather stations around the area recorded a little lower.

No, not directly, but a lot of store shelves are empty or low in supplies that are normally shipped up from Bangkok.

Good to hear that your spot is safe. Sad reading about all the lives lost. I just read earlier about Ayutthaya. That's a lot of weight to have on top of almost-mud. Hope none of those structures and temples sink or falls over.

Yesterday was pretty cooperative here - 68.8°F and 48.4°F

Thanks Pat. Yeah, the loss of lives is never a good thing to hear about. I also read that 100's of thousands lost their jobs also due to factories and such flooding and closing. I heard some folks were compensated during their time away from work but eventually were let go. Terrible mess indeed.

Man, your temps look ideal right now! It would be nice if you could 'press pause' on the weather when you wanted to. ;)

RAIN! Another whopping 0.01"...

Or so the station reported. I didn't hear anything but the ground looked a little damp.

Though its early for the month, we have been very dry. With the wind picking up here over the last couple of days, the fire threat has picked up a lot

Freezing at night, warm in the afternoon. It honestly could be snowing, but I don't think that'll happen.

20% showers today. Partly cloudy tonight.

Sunny until Thanksgiving, slight chance showers.

Well I guess some precip is better than none, but that's not saying much.

http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/

I looked at the 6-10 Day. Kinda wondering what the heck is going on here.  :-k

The 8-10 Day shows similar.

Beyond that, south Texas remains dry, as does much of New Mexico.

Late morning/early afternoon had a t-storm or two roll by a little north of me. A few big strikes to be seen.

I ended with 0.05" of rain and gusts in the upper 20s. My high of 61.3 was at 9:45AM. A tad cooler than yesterday's 69.6

Thanksgiving nite is casted for 30% chance of rain. If it does rain, that would make for my 26th day of precip this year vs 48 days average per year. YTD has seen 2.83" vs 10.71" avg/year.

That strong low and thick plume of moisture west of Baja has now been casted as 60% chance of precip for both Thur nite and Friday with an "Special Statement" alert for heavy rain. Lows in the mid 40s tho'

Noticed the temp drop in the forecast for this week. 39 for a low on Thursday, 28 for a low on Friday.

It has been known to snow in late November up here, but I think the real heavy snow doesn't occur until mid to late December, into the New Year.

Have you ever taken the Sandia lift when there's snow up there?

No but I heard it's really beautiful. I've been up there in the warmer months unfortunately (well the city lights and the sunsets up there are really beautiful)

I remember my 16th birthday up there...there was still snow. But not much.
