Hit 31*F earlier this month.

I think Halloween night is going to be chilly up here.

A pitter-patter on the skylites and the smell of fresh rain resulted in zero accumulation over the last hour but I could have a little more later.

Same thing this afternoon - a few drops and nothing more.

Thursday nite looks like my first day to see under 40. Low 80s/high 40s over the last week and today was the first with clouds in the sky.

A little rain today - 0.04" that saw a max rate of 0.49"/hr.

Thursday nite is calling for 36 as a low. The number keeps going down.

It snowed in Portales and Clovis overnight (not a whole lot but it still snowed).

All we got up here was rain and a low of 36*F.

Is Clovis higher up in elevation that u are??? And I figure 36F would have been cold enough for a little sleet.

Believe it or not, lower...but out on the plains as well. I think eastern New Mexico saw the brunt of the cold front more than we did further west.

Today's high was 19 lower than yesterday's 80 and 2.5 higher than yesterday's low!

44 now and I had to close the windows...

With all the posts about Nor'easters and blizzards and the like, I thought I would mention that my November started with a nice, sunny 80 degree day.

Just thought I would throw that out there...  8-)

My start to November has been pretty nice too.  Not up to 80*F but hit 61*F and sunny.  Not bad for November.  Just wish the leaves would fall so I can get the raking done!

Found my first "freeze day" this morning at 30.4. Pretty much on time in the first week of NOV (or last week of OCT).

That's my marker for closing the swamp cooler for the winter.

I'm still waiting for our first 32 deg here in Sedona.  Should happen with this system coming through the next couple of days.

pretty much on same schedule as you, Cienega, our first freeze here has come between 12 October and 9 November.

emptied the rain barrels onto the plants and trees last week, ready to have them fill back up this weekend!

No rain forecast for the weekend here - just a lot of wind.

Hope you refill those barrels!

According to the NWS, we're in for a snowy deep freeze next week...and a lot of wind this weekend.

I love winter, I love snow, but does it have to be so miserable up here?  ](*,)

Mom is keeping the furnace down to 65*F. Not sure if I should complain or greet the huge energy savings (we do use the oven a lot - I love to bake things).

On the bottom of the state, I last had 90+ on Sept 29 (91.9) and last 85+ on Oct 17 (87.1)

Right now, my 62 is 20 degrees warmer than 24 hours ago.
