Title: Background Customization

How are other people able customize the backgrounds on the GR software?I know that they took away that feature long ago but how come other people are still able to have and access that feature!?Please tell me, I'd like to know!

A couple of ways possibly could be...

1. Alter the background color to your preference gis/settings/background color, or
2. Create a placefile background, add it and check the second box on placefile manger to make it underlying.

However, they are probably better routes over what as mentioned above.

But with GRearth, There are no placefiles or shapefiles.

I apparently missed the GREarth focus in your post.

Otherwise, I do not utilize a background for GREarth since the over layered data covers up the background anyway.
