It's a bit higher than I would like. My RPI 4B sits around 38-40° C.

mine, a RPi4B, runs on 36° C (with a temperature regulated fan though).

Guess I'm in the ball park. Mine is running around 40˚c with fan.

I have an RPi 3B+ in service at a repeater site in a metal enclosure and the building is not air conditioned.  I've seen it report a CPU temp of at least 56 C/132 F.  It's been out there for three years and I have a few spares!

I opted not to have a fan as I didn't want it covered in dust and dead flies/bugs.
