Hi Scott,

Thanks and understood. I hope the weather improves so you can enjoy the outdoors. The number of months that weather is warm enough to enjoy being outside is limted. We had an active April and May with severe storms then we went into a string of 14 days of 90 plus then into a pattern of rain just about every other day. Hey but this why this hobby is so enjoyable, change and variety.

Since it's been raining here all morning (Weatherman said it was going to be a hot sunny weekend, my station knew better!) I was able to put a few finishing touches on my next update to the alternative dashboard for Weather Display users. I am looking for a few people to beta test the changes. You should be using both UV and Solar sensors to help me test this. If you want to give it a try, send me your email address and I'll give you a link to download it.

The latest version follows Kens newest template for Weather Display Ajax Template and includes now a solar icon, UV forecast icons and many other smaller changes and additional language translation items that were missed before.

My station has not been up 1 year. August 2010 was approximate date. But on the hilowavg I see avg temp for July. Should I edit this out, or just wait for July to come & go?

Ed, the average is based on an incomplete month. I still think the averages shouldn't be updated till month end but Weather Display does it daily. There is nothing much you can do about it.

Implemented your template in the V3 templates here:http://www.akker.be/wxindex.php, and i thought: why not give it a shot in the V2 template here:www.akker.be. Still having a few minor issues with the paths (i think) but it's working!

Thanks Bob but I think I'm ready to release the changes here in a few minutes. I did one final change and I think that is all I'm going to do before I leave for vacation! Look for it in a few minutes here.

I updated to 6.20 and under Current Conditions Section I'm not showing the rain.jpg image with the amount to the right. Any ideas?

I'm guessing that somehow you don't have a unit of measure defined for snow anywhere. It should be located in settings.php like shown below:

If you are having any issues with the Alternative-Dashboard 6.xx script over the next two weeks, I will be away from the computer on vacation and won't be able to respond. I've updated the FAQ section in the instructions (located in the 6.20 archive) with several of the most common issues and their fixes. Please check there and if still in need of help, post here, perhaps someone here will have seen it before too. I'll be back around the 10th of July and will answer then. Thanks

Try looking in ajaxWDwx.js file in this area and see if you have errors here.

I have installed version 6.20 with the language option, but it has not fixed the wind direction icons from being lost.

Take a look http://www.wraxall-weather.co.uk/index.php

Did you look at this problem when changing the language selector.

Unless I'm missing something entirely here, wind direction icons are there - or are these not the specific icons you're looking for?
