One of the best ways to troubleshoot is to watch the Raw Data in FindU.

http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/raw.cgi?call=CW3642

Looks like you are up and running again with Ambient's Virtual Weather Station (VWS).
But your location is not correctly entered into VWS.

One other thing you should know is that you can't test other software simultaneously. Only one software can have at your Weatherlink Serial logger data. That is unless you configure VVP which is no longer supported and doesn't work with newer firmware. For this reason I think it might be better to stick to one software application or invest in a WeatherLink Live device (WLL) that will allow you to run and test multiple weather software simultaneously. No subscription necessary to run WLL. You can then run and test Cumulus MX, Meteobridge, Weather-Display, and WeeWX all at the same time if you like. You can then also free up your computer as all of these can run on a Raspberry Pi (its easy and there is plenty of help). Or you can choose or not to continue running VWS with your Weatherlink Serial if you'd like.

I know I can only run one program at a time which is frustrating.  This morning I started Weather Display and it didn't show any rain, when I closed it and started Virtual Weather Station, it showed .21".  I think the Weather Display is ocassionally uploading to CWOP, but if the data is not accurate, I don't want to post it.  I will have to look int the Weather Link Live device, I have been wanting to move the weather station off the main computer and build something low power.  I didn't know about the Raspberry Pi device, will it run Windows?

@Sundancer,
Weatherlink.com  does uploads to CWOP.; either through WeatherlinkPC, a WeatherlinkIP or equivalent such as WiFilogger,  or Weatherlink Live.  I don't use the WLL for uploading to CWOP so can't tell on the interval it would send.

I am also using Weatherlink Life for access by more than one program on my P.C.  However you need a paid subscription to access logged historical data.

I will not do any subscription service unless it is the only option.  I dropped several programs when they went subscription and found alternatives or quit using them.  Quicken is a prime example, I stayed with 2017 which was the last non-subscription version and just live with the limitations.

Subscription only needed for getting logged historical, not for ongoing use.  I don't have a subscription yet.

Enjoy,
Paul

What is logged historical?  Is this what is needed to compare today to the same day last year?

It's the catch up of data in the logger when you restart the program on your computer.  This is not available without the subscription version.  Live data is captured from the WLL by I.e. CumulusMX  when the program is running.

Weatherlink.com also does not show any historical (past) data without the subscription version.

Enjoy,
Paul

I will have to check into that, It seems to be reporting and I don't have a clew what I did or didn't do to get it to start reporting.  Sure is frustrating trying to get the system (Computer) back to where it was before i had to reinstall Windows.

Changed the Lat & Lon from .xx minutes to xx.xx minutes, I hope that corrects the problem.  I really wish they would let you input Degrees, Minutes and Seconds instead of the Decimal crap.  Per Google Maps, I am at 45°14'16.6"N 85°19'07.2"W or 45.237944, -85.318667 the VWSaprs program has two boxes one for degrees and the other for minutes.  Initially on re-install, I entered .2379 and .3186, it will only go out to 4 places and it truncated that to .24 and .32, this time I entered 23.79 and 31.86 and will see if I am now in Lake Michigan.  Thanks for pointing out the location error.

Here's what you should enter in to the nearest minute. W 45°14'17.000" N 85°19'07.000". Leave the places after the decimal 0's.

Problem is the program only has the Degrees and Minutes boxes, see attached Screen Shot.  It must be a British Thing.

You are doing it wrong. It isn't a British thing. It is just a different way to express Latitude / Logitude called Degrees Decimal Minutes or DM.m (with the decimal point in a different place for the sake of reducing the number of characters to save bandwidth - Important for Hams where CWOP started).

All you need is a good converter to convert the Decimal degrees that you are used to from Google to DM.m:
https://www.directionsmag.com/site/latlong-converter/

45.237944, -85.318667
becomes:
North 45 14.28, West 85 19.12

If you look at your raw CWOP data this is the format that is required.

Ok, thank you, I will put in the 14.28 and 19.12 and see where I wind up.  I am not up on the HAM world though my son has a license though I am not sure what he does with it.  I know he attends some HAM fests in the Petoskey area and I believe he has a radio in his car.  It is his thing and I am not involved with that.

Looks like you are not in Lake Michigan anymore. The red line indicating your move will disappear eventually (a day or so ..maybe hours).

Well, that puts the Station with in about 20-25' of it's actual location.  Thank you for the help, you don't know how much I really appreciate it.

Looks good! Just a fyi, you need to add .07inhg. to your pressure to agree with surrounding stations.

I will have to try and figure that out, I will probably have to do that in Weather Link tomorrow.

Well I corrected it to 30.00 inches, it wiped out my elevation so I guess they are mutually exclusive.  I had just entered my elevation at 750 feet as an approximation as the deck it is mounted on is about 12-16 feet above the ground and the ground had been re-contoured when the walkout basement was installed.

It matches KCVX not too far from your location. Looks good.
